We had a lot of fun last weekend looking for housing in Coeur d'Alene, attending Chief Architect's Christmas Party (which, by the way, hosted the coolest White Elephant I've ever attended. Cale had his gifts stolen at least five times. Fortunately for him, he ended up with a set of nerf guns -- one of the better prizes compared to the rest of the loot), flying home and driving straight down to Provo to participate in Josh and Amy's baby blessing of little Christi, and then driving back up to Salt Lake for my symphony concert.
It was a busy weekend, but it 'twas great! I loved having time off work and a few relaxing days with Cale before finals. And now that I've seen our new apartment and the Coeur d'Alene scene I feel more comfortable about moving.
Some other good news: Tanner called to catch up. Talking to him reminded me of how much I love my family. Siblings can be SUCH a blessing in our life. True story.
The only downside to our weekend was the nippy weather. By the end, this Arizona girl needed some sunshine!
