Below is a quote that I appreciate--especially today. You've read it before I'm sure:
"Our greatest fear is not that we are inadequate, but that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness, that frightens us. We ask ourselves, who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, handsome, talented, and fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you. We were born to make manifest the glory of God within us. It is not just in some; it is in everyone. And, as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our fear, our presence automatically liberates others." —Marianne Williamson
Today's Challenge: Don't compare yourself to others. Don't say your worse and their better, OR visa versa. We all have potential to be great people. And we all attain that greatness in different ways, at different times in our lives. One person's greatness does not belittle another. Sometimes it may feel that we're not as accomplished, special, or that we're not worth being loved and cared about. But that's just false. So don't believe such foolishness. If you don't feel your time of greatness has come, then look around and pick out the details of your life that make it worth living. Believe you can become who you desperately crave to be.
"Remember the worth of souls is great in the sight of God" (D&C 18:10).
