Jump start to 2013!

I might be a little premature in posting this, but I'm excited to share one of my New Year's Resolutions. For those of you who remember, January 2012 was not a great time for me. I was living alone in a big house in a tiny town and had just started a challenging job (yes, that sob story again). I was lonely and discouraged -- so terribly uncomfortable about the ambiguity that was my life. I was in survival mode: wake up, shower (no really, shower), get dressed (no, not in sweatpants), eat breakfast, go to work, stay at work, come home, eat dinner, go to sleep. Repeat. Suffice it to say, what could have been an opportunity for resolutions, changes and hope was, in actuality, a time of doubt.

A year post college, a long-distance engagement, a wedding, and four months of married life later, things are different. I'm more confident, more optimistic, more...me. Maybe it's the upcoming move and the prospects of starting fresh, maybe it's the fact I have a wonderful husband who has introduced new purpose and joy to my life -- who knows? Whatever the cause of my motivation may be, I'm excited and ready to start 2013 with some enthusiasm! And what better way to start the New Year fresh than with a jump start into better health?

Allow me to introduce you to...

New Year New Rules (NYNR) created by Prescribe | Nutrition

New Year New Rules (NYNR) is a two-week program created to help people become more in-tune with their body's specific nutritional needs (i.e. portion control, food allergies, nutrient deficiencies, cleansing, etc). It's also a great program for people who are looking for healthy, wholesome solutions for kick starting a holiday-exhausted metabolism. In other words, if you're ready to get out of the seasonal junk food fest and re-establish healthy habits, you'll want to check out this program. Or, if you've recently developed a food allergy or intolerance and are not sure where to start, you'll want to check out this program.

NYNR was designed by registered nutritionists Katie Jasper at Katie Jasper Health and Meagan Morris at The Root of Health. Both women share in the philosophy that health is a lifestyle, not a diet or fad. Just as common logic points out that to feel good you have to eat good, Katie and Meagan strive to solve important dietary issues starting with the main culprit: how your body reacts to the food you're putting in your mouth.

Learn what's right for your body. That's the motto here.

Join me from January 7 - 21, 2013 in taking your nutrition to a positive, personal level. With new recipes and health tips coming to your inbox daily, there will be plenty to learn and discuss. Check out the program here.

But wait...there's more!
(Is this an infomercial?)

If you leave a comment on le blog telling me some of your New Year's Resolutions, I'll include you in a drawing for FREE admittance into the program*. No, folks, I did not stutter...FREE!

Only one can win. **Expecting or nursing women are encouraged to contact Katie Jasper or Meagan Morris to answer necessary questions and concerns before signing up for the program. If you have diabetes or another chronic health issue, contact Katie and Meagan, and consult with your doctor before signing up.

In the meantime, I hope your holidays are wonderful, your heart is happy and that you feel the love of our Savior.
