Feeling a little "Suessy"

Today I bought a planner,
a planner I did buy
to keep me smart and focused
when all life happenings [try] go awry

It's cute and simple, almost stylish
but all aesthetics aside,
Today I bought a planner,

Inside are bight white pages
with lines and number and dates
There's even a spot for numbers,
and people and recipes...for le crepes?

Today I bought a planner,

Because it was a new years resolution
and by golly, with all I my might
