Ok, I'll be honest, I was pretty dang excited

This morning I woke up early to finish some last-minute editing responsibilities for the June issue of 202 Magazine, the publication I am interning for this summer. As I was reading I fell upon this fun little find:

Let's just say I may or may not have two articles being published in the June 2011 issue. Is it totally and completely vain of me to say I'm genuinely stoked to see my name on the masthead of a real publication? Fine. Call me vain. But I'm still going to be pretty dang excited about it. I may not be bringing home the bacon (or the bread, or the dough, or the mula, or the green), but I'm SO GRATEFUL for the opportunity to even write, let alone edit and design and do all the other communication things I love to do.
