Ahh! I'm so terribly twitterpated

**This post is for the ladies. The single ones I might add.** 

If you would have tried to carry on a face to face conversation with me today, you might have wondered why my attention span lasts only 8 seconds, why I'm constantly twirling my hair, and why I'm giggling about everything and anything. 

Every once in a while I run across something (well, more accurately put) I find someone who just...inspires me. Nay, it's more like he--how should I put this--makes me weak in the knees. Melt. Daydream. Whatever words or phrases you use to describe twitterpation, that's how I feel. I usually only get this way with a total and complete stranger. Even more closer to the truth, the guy is not exactly real. Meaning, he's a character...in a movie, play, or some other kind of fictional setting.

I remember the first time I felt twitterpated. I was in first grade, and Brendan Fraser was staring as George  in George of the Jungle. And no, it wasn't his rock-hard abs or long tussled blond locks that got my heart strings strumming. Rather, it was one scene in particular when George is trying to persuade Ursula to dance with him around the camp fire. She's hesitating and explaining why women like her don't just start dancing around a fire with wild apes and jungle men. Before she caves, the camera goes right to Brendan Fraser who's smiling like a happy-go-lucky schoolboy. Suffice it to say, his smile was quite charming, and I felt for the first time the increased heart rate and innocently bashful feelings of twitterpation. Give a 7-year-old girl a break, people! Brendan Fraser was a hunk back in the day.

Now I'll draw your attention to this  SUPER CUTE CLIP from Fame, a recent film about musically talented highs school students ready and willing to risk everything for their shot at the stage. The film itself is an adaptation of the musical (which has the same name), which had its premier in the 1980s. In this clip, Marko and Jenny start as "just friends", but slowly and ever so assuredly, their love for music and art and everything in between draws them closer and closer and CLOSER until finally...

Oh wait...I can't give you ALL the juicy details. You'll just have to check out the clip for yourself. Maybe then you'll understand why I'm so terribly twitterpated about Marko's incredible vocals, wistful brown locks, and sweet, sweet smile.
