If it's posted, it's official, right?

I've been keeping secrets. Only because I hadn't made an official decision yet. You know me: I sit on the fence of indecision for a very long time before I make a choice.

But today I'm making it official (because apparently if I tell the internet, it's official?), and I will share my good news with you.

Yup. That's where I'm going to be from January 4, 2011 to April 19, 2011. Am I excited? You bet your bottom dollar! 

I debated for a long time about whether or not I would accept the chance to go. I worry about leaving BYU a semester early. What was I worried about? Oh, you know, just the silly things like dating, preparing for a career, finishing a GREAT program, saying goodbye to GOOD friends, etc. But I realize that this is a rare opportunity, and one that I fully intend to appreciate and enjoy. 

Upon leaving the BYU Jerusalem Center on April 19 (holy cow....my birthday???) I will return to BYU and graduate. I will then proceed to start the next phase of life: post graduation. YIKES! Don't inquire about my whereabouts at that time. Because I still have no idea where I'm going to be after graduation. However, I know that doors will open and I will be just fine. 

Anyway, that's my good news. I've published it, so I'm official now, right?
