Twitterpated

Did you know I'm a sucker for guys who can sing? Seriously. I get twitterpated every time I hear a tenor's vibrato or a bass's boom-chuck. Oh, and let's not forget about those baritones--they could sing me to sweet slumber any time.

Have you ever heard of BYU Vocal Point? I went to their concert in March last semester and fell in love...with 9 guys (even the married ones. Shameful, I know...). OK, not really, but their acapella music did tug at a few heart strings.

Since their concert I've been on a huge acapella kick. My obsession led me to a unique arrangement of "Nearer My God to Thee" sung by Vocal Point. At first I didn't really like it, but now that I've warmed up to it I listen to the song constantly. I think it has like...30 hits on my iTunes playlist.

Below is second video of Vocal Point. The lead singer Keith Evans does a FANTASTIC job hitting all his high notes. Also, these guys are hilarious performers. So much personality. Did I already mention I'm in love? (hehe). I promise, if you watch this video, you'll "walk out the door" with a smile on your face :-)

I plan to attend ALL of Vocal Point's concerts during my senior year (2010-2011 baby!). Call me. Cause I know ya'll will wanna jump in on this.
