How can I tell, you ask?
The following symptoms apply:
1. You leave your apartment without a jacket hoping the sun will illuminate through the smog just enough to keep you somewhat warm.
2. You sing out loud as you walk up the hill on the west side of campus.
3. You don't feel the least bit sorry for people who are praying for snow (aka more snowboarding time) and not really getting it.
4. You cried yesterday morning when you looked out the window and saw that it was snowing.
5. You run outside now, even though it is STILL quite chilly in the evenings and nights. But the idea of being able to run outside (and not in the nasty, grime-filled BYU gym [which doesn't even have treadmills anymore]) keeps you going.
6. You are extremely excited to wear pastel colors and floral fragrances.
7. You can't hardly wait for Easter! It's going to be so good this year: conference, chocolate, green grass...
8. You look at every tree on campus hoping beyond hope that one little blossom is growing.
9. You know that there are only 8 weeks left of winter semester! (What?!)
10. You are already planning the awesome hikes, vacations and classes you'll be taking Spring semester (or keeping your fingers crossed for an internship).
And that's about it. That's when you know you have Spring Fever. Boy do I have it bad!
