Thanks to the motivation and support of my dear friend Carly Cook, I have decided to join her on July 18, 2009 to run Utah's Bryce Canyon half marathon. I am very excited! In almost exactly 9 weeks my goal is to run 13 miles through Southern Utah's red-rock trails and luscious green pastures...without stopping! I have no ideal for time. I simply wish to finish.
Since this is week one, my training schedule will begin as follows:
Mon: 3.5 miles--CHECK
Tues: 40 minutes of cross training--CHECK
Wed: 3.5 miles + strengthening--CHECK
Thurs: 2 miles
Fri: leisure run
Sat: 5-6 miles--CHECK
